WEED FACTS

Spotted knapweed has infested more than 5 million acres in Montana and its economic effect in terms of eradication cost and lost productivity is estimated at $20 million annually just in the state of Montana.

Invasive species are the second leading cause of animal decline and extinction worldwide.

Spotted knapweed infestations in Western Montana result in a 200-300% reduction in winter elk forage.

Everyone. Noxious weeds are a serious problem that threatens our wildlife, our recreational pursuits, our native plants and ecosystems, our rivers, lakes and streams, as well as the economic viability of our farmers and ranchers.

While total eradication might not be feasible in most cases, our goal is to provide our clients with a reasonable level of control through integrated weed and pest management and through the responsible and ethical application of all control devices.
